VAALBARA

Named for a primordial earthly land mass, Vaalbara was launched by veteran Seattle musos Dennis Rea. Peter Comley, Ffej, Cary Kindberg, and Doug Wilkerson  to transmute overlooked space-rock gems by past accomplice Nik Turner, Hawkwind, ancient Floyd, Amon Duul II, Gong, and other sonic wayfarers. Vaalbara gigs burst with heavy riffage, swirling kosmische textures, and outlandish lyric themes, rocketing listeners back to the days of the underground.
